Okay, so this is the recipe for peanut butter cookies as given by Kraft
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
That’s it. Cook at 325 F for 12-15 min.
I spent five minutes staring at that list, trying to will more ingredients to appear.
I looked at other recipes (including the Joy of Cooking and stuff online) to see if anyone else jived with this. They all agreed, flour is kind of important. This to me is not a cookie, it’s sweet flat peanut butter. I smell an agenda by Big PB.
In the end I decided to improvise and to the above recipe added 1 cup of flower, a bit of baking soda, a little butter, vanilla, and chocolate chips.
You can never go wrong with chocolate chips.
The result was most pleasing.
